LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

An unconventional business opened its doors in Lubbock today.

The Lubbock Rage Room, located at 12101 Geneva Ave, Lubbock, TX, gives customers the opportunity to smash things such as old appliances, glass bottles, and any other items customers would like to bring. The owner, Angela Pede, told KCBD where she got the idea for the business.

"For me it kind of started with a lot of aggression in my life. I got to looking on the Internet so there's actually an anger room in Dallas, there's not one here, so I kind of just took the idea and ran."

First, customers pick out what they want to smash, then pick out what smashing equipment to use. The equipment ranges from baseball bats, to tire irons, to golf clubs. Customers pay based on what (and how many) items they want to smash, what equipment to smash with, and how much time allotted they have in the room.

The "Total Rager" package includes 30 minutes of smash time, 30 glass items, two electronics, one large item, and room for up to four people.
