For the third time in the past four years, the South Plains College Texans were in the NJCAA Final 4 and they took full advantage of this opportunity as the 13th seeded Texans rolled past No. 8 Eastern Florida State 89-76 to advance to the NJCAA National Title game Saturday night.

The Texans held a 7-point lead at the half and stretched it to 55-40 just 4 minutes into the 2nd half.

SPC was without their top 2 scorers,  Isaiah Maurice, who had to sit out after receiving 2 technical fouls  in the Elite 8 game and they were without Jordan Brangers, who is missing the entire National Tourney due to a knee injury.

No. 13 South Plains College has beat No. 20, No. 4, No. 12 and No. 8 now to make the NJCAA Championship game.

The Texans will play No. 10 Southern Idaho for the NJCAA National Championship at 7 p.m. Saturday night in Kansas.
