Presidential Library Effort Gets Big Pledge - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The effort to bring the Presidential library to Lubbock and Texas Tech got a $1 million boost Monday. Lubbock National Bank announced it's million dollar pledge. Lubbock National Bank President and C.E.O. says, "It's our opinion that having the George W. Bush library on the Texas Tech campus will change the landscape of Lubbock, and it will change the landscape of West Texas."

Also, in just one week, Lubbock students have written thousands of letters to the White House, urging the President to bring the library to Lubbock.
