Dilly Dog, Triple B top list of new concessions for Texas Ranger fans

ARLINGTON, TX (KCBD) -

The Texas Rangers have announced new concession items for this season - some people may think they're a little wacky and others may think they're brilliant. The most-discussed item on the new concession list this season is the Dilly Dog; which is a hot-dog-stuffed pickle - yes, you read that right.

The Dilly Dog is a hollowed-out pickle (from Fort Worth's Best Maid) stuffed with an Angus beef jumbo dog, it's then battered and fried for $10. it will be available at the State Fare Stand in section 41. There is also a chicken sandwich as big as home plate that will run you more than $27.

Opening day is Thursday, March 29. The Rangers will play the World Series Champs the Houston Astros at 2:35 p.m. Get tickets here.

The Dilly Dog – This unique item is a delicious Best Maid dill pickle cored out and stuffed with our Angus Beef Jumbo Dog. It is battered and fried to a golden brown.
