76th ABC Pro Rodeo back in Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The 76th Annual ABC Pro Rodeo will open its doors in Lubbock March 29th - 31st.

The longstanding Hub City tradition will bring in over 400 people participating in bull riding, bareback, tie-down roping, team roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc, and barrel racing.

Since it began, the rodeo has been helping raise money for the Lubbock Boys and Girls Club, and over the past 76 years have raised over $1.5 Million.

This year performances will begin Thursday (03/29) at 7:30 P.M. and will continue Friday (03/30) at 7:30 P.M. and Saturday (03/31) at 1:30 P.M. and 7:30 P.M.

Tickets are on sale now. For pre-sale, general admission is $10, and reserved is $18. For day-of sales, general admission is $12, and reserved is $20. All tickets are sold at Select-a-Seat locations and the Western Wear Store. 

This year the rodeo is also offering a free shuttle to parking spots. The Carizma bus shuttle will begin at 6:15 P.M. for the evening performances and 12:15 pm for the Saturday matinee performance. The bus will pick up individuals needing a ride at the United Supermarkets Arena parking lot continuously throughout the ABC Pro Rodeo performance.  Parking will also be available at other parking lots South of the Coliseum on the TTU campus.
