No. 7 Red Raider baseball evens series with West Virginia

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The 7th-ranked Red Raiders evened their series with West Virginia, winning 4-1 Friday night at Rip Griffin Park.

Former Monterey Plainsmen Braxton Fulford hit his first home run as a Red Raider and former Lubbock High Westerner Michael David went yard for a 2-run shot.

Caleb Kilian went 6 innings allowing 1 run on 2 hits with 4 strikeouts.

The 22-5 Red Raiders move to 2-3 in the Big 12.

The rubber match with West Virginia is 2 p.m. Saturday.
