LUBBOCK, TX (AP) - The Texas Tech men's track and field team has moved up to No. 6 in the first week of the Outdoor National Rankings.

The No. 6 spot is the highest for the Tech track team in week 1 since they opened No. 7 to start the 2012 season.

The Red Raiders were well represented at the 91st Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays as Junior Charles Brown finished second in the long jump and Brandon Bray was second in the pole vault.

Senior Trey Culver was second in the men's high jump.

Texas Tech is back on the track in Tempe Arizona this weekend for the Sun Angel Classic.
