A local U14 girls soccer team wanted to play top notch competition so they earned one of four qualifying spots to play in a league in Dallas. Head Coach Josh Lugo says that shows the dedication from these girls and their families.

"These girls being from Lubbock have to travel 10 hours round trip whenever we go and play our league games and tournaments in Dallas. That's a big commitment on their part and for their parents to commit.

This West Texas U14 Team would win the North Texas Presidents Cup. Goalie Bailee Robertson says it was amazing.

"It was very exciting. One of the most thrilling moments of my life and I'll never forget it."

Hadley Coronado says this team gave everything they had to beat top teams from the Metroplex.

"I was pretty confident in us. I wasn't surprised. We did good enough to win it."

Now these girls from West Texas will represent North Texas in the Southern President's Cup Region 3 starting June 11th in Greenville, South Carolina.

We wish the FC Dallas WTX 04G Lugo Team good luck.

This month marks 10 years of Pee Wee TV as it started on the air here April 3, 2008.
