Lubbock Breaks Hotel Occupancy Record

Visitors and tourists are breaking hotel and motel records in Lubbock.

Hotel occupancy was at 80% for the month of July...the highest rate in Lubbock's history. 

Lubbock hosted the Texas state FFA convention, the Xcel Energy Lineman Rodeo and several sporting tournaments to fill nearly 4,000 rooms in July.
