NEW HOME, TX (KCBD) - Out in New Home, two athletes signed to play the sports they love at the collegiate level.
Keagen Grantham signed to play baseball at Wayland Baptist.
Daniel Hall signed with Ottawa University in Kansas for bowling. Hall gets a full ride to pursue his passion. This past youth league, he averaged 225, which is one of the highest youth averages in the State. He bowls JBT Southwest and has 1 Scratch title. Hall was the Under 17 New Mexico-Texas 2016-2017 bowler of the year. He owns a Teen Bowlers Tour Title and has 12 top 5 finishes in JBT Southwest Tournaments. He won the Texas State Youth Tournament in 2016. He's excited to get a bowling scholarship to Ottawa University.
Grantham is 4-2 for the Leopards this season with a 3.17 ERA. He's currently batting .486 for New Home
Congrats to both of these New Home athletes as they will have new homes next season at the Collegiate level.
