LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - If you suffer from Triskaidekaphobia, the fear of the No. 13, then Friday the 13th is not the day for you.

Baseball fans are traditionally superstitious, which means "having or showing a belief in superstitions."

A few baseball superstitions are: never stepping on the foul line, or leaving the pitcher alone in the dugout.

Maybe even having a lucky glove, bat, shirt, hat, or even necklace.

On the local angle, Texas Tech baseball might be Triskaidekaphobiac since they don't have a No. 13 on their roster.

So, when you go watch the No. 4 Red Raiders taking on Kansas State this weekend at Dan Law Field, look for their superstitions.

You might find one you like, and you might be able to add that into your arsenal of superstitions.
