LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

It's been two years since 41-year-old Dane Lee Hubbard went missing here in the Hub City.

Now his father has decided to take his son's case into his own hands by offering a $10,000 reward for answers.

The $10,000 reward was posted on a flier than has been seen all over town, by a father who just wants to get his son back.

LPD says Dane Lee Hubbard has been missing since August of 2016, but his family says he's been missing since long before that.

Dan Hubbard, Dane's father, told KCBD he knows his son is dead. He says Dane is a fun-loving man who would not just disappear on his family like this.

"We're all going to die, it's just that I never thought my boy would go before me," Dan said.

Dane was last seen riding a red bike on the 2400 block of 34th Street near an antique shop where he used to work.

His father says he is willing to hand over his last dollar for the recovery of his son's body.

"I'm just a broken father begging for help to bring my boy back," Dan said. "Someone's going to give me a phone call and it's all going to be over as far as closure, but the pain, the pain will never be over."

Dan says he will need confirmation that it is indeed his son's body before he gives the reward to anyone.

Police say they are still looking for a person, not a body, because this is still a missing person's case.

If you have any information call Crime Line at 741-1000 or contact Dan Hubbard at 972-400-1245.
