ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KCBD) - The Red Raider baseball team stayed hot at the plate, tallying 22-hits and beating New Mexico 20-9.
New Mexico had a 3-2 lead heading into the third inning but Texas Tech would plate four-runs in the third, three-runs in the fourth, and two-runs in the fifth and never looked back.
Seven Red Raiders had multi-hit games, including Josh Jung hitting for the cycle against New Mexico.
Jose Quezada picks up the win for the Red Raiders, after tossing two-innings with one-strike out.
With this win, Texas Tech is now 30-8 on the season.
Up next, the Red Raiders will return home for a three-game series against Oklahoma.
