SEMINOLE, TX (KCBD) - The Seminole Volunteer Fire Department was on the scene of multiple structure fires around 3 a.m. Thursday. According to the Seminole Sentinel, two homes and an RV were lost in the fires.
Officials are investigating the fires as an "active arson" case.
The first fire started just after 2 a.m. in the 500 block of N.E. Ave. I. The single-wide mobile home was engulfed in flames. It has been deemed a complete loss.
The second fire happened in the 200 block of S.W. Ave. H just after 4:30 a.m. The house and an RV were destroyed in the fire.
There is no word on if any of the three structures were occupied at the time of the fires, but no injuries have been reported.
Officials with Gaines County and the Texas State Fire Marshal's Office are investigating. Local officials told the Seminole Sentinel they believe the fires are linked and could be arson.
