Crime-stopping org offers rewards for Plainview's unsolved robberies, burglaries

PLAINVIEW, TX (KCBD) - Three burglaries have not been solved in Plainview and a local crime-stopping organization is offering separate rewards for anyone willing to provide information regarding the crimes.

The Plainview/Hale County Crimestoppers Committee is offering a $750 reward for anyone with information about a robbery at the Allsup's Convenience Store at 608 S. Broadway St. in Plainview on Feb. 28. The male suspect is said to be in his teens, standing at 4 feet, 6 inches and was seen wearing a red hoodie with black and white striped pants.

That suspect was also seen carrying a red backpack and wearing a red cotton glove on one hand.

The committee is also offering a $500 reward for anyone with information regarding an April 4 burglary of a green Reeves roof cutter from a construction area around 2417 Yonkers St. in Plainview.

Crimestoppers is also asking for help in finding the person accused of stealing a lawnmower, portable air compressor, battery charger, Craftsman chainsaw, Poulon chainsaw, two Craftsman leaf blowers and other tools. That crime is said to have taken place at 609 W. 9th St. in Plainview.
