LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

This week on I Beat Pete, it's the annual high heel challenge for a great cause.

Voice of Hope of Lubbock has been serving those affected by Sexual Assault since 1975. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is this Saturday, April 28 at a new location, Lowe's Home Improvement at 5022 West Loop 289.

Everyone can get out and walk a mile in high heels and march to stop sexual violence. They will have heel sizes for all participants. Registration is 9:30 a. m. The walk starts at 10 a.m.

For the challenge, we would take penalty kicks with no soccer ball, but with a high heel. We would use our leg and fling the heel, trying to get it in the soccer net. However, there would be a goalie and for protection, he would have a Sheriff's shield to try to stop the heel.
