The No. 3 Red Raiders fought hard in the game, but TCU takes the series opener 6-4.

In the game, Texas Tech had 29 at bats, with five hits and 12 strikeouts.

Davis martin picked up the loss after tossing four innings, with three strike outs and five earned runs.

With this loss, Texas Tech is now 32-11 on the season and 10-6 in Big 12 Conference play.
