Cinco de Mayo events, special in Lubbock

According to Lubbock in the Loop, there will be too many events and specials for Cinco de Mayo in Lubbock to count! 

The largest event has to be the Cinco de Mayo parade. For the 6th year in Lubbock, Los Hermanos Familia and Latino Lubbock Magazine are proud to announce that they will hold the official Cinco de Mayo Parade of Lubbock on Saturday, May 5, 2018.

The local parade will kick off celebrations all over Lubbock and West Texas. The 6th Annual Cinco de Mayo Parade of Lubbock will begin on Avenue V, moving east on historic Broadway to the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

Line-up will be at 9 a.m., the parade begins at 10 a.m. and welcomes all of the Lubbock community and surrounding areas to take part as participants or as spectators.
