Local Trucks Loaded With Food/Water Head East To Restock Food Banks

Hurricane relief continues to be sent out of Lubbock. The South Plains Food Bank loaded up more than 25,000 lbs of food and water in the back of two semi-trucks Tuesday morning.

One truck is headed to the Southeast Food Bank in Beaumont while the other will stop at the East Texas Food Bank in Tyler.

R&W Supply in Littlefield and Willis Moving and Storage in Lubbock loaned the trucks for Tuesday's trips, and Chisum Travel Center provided the gas for one of those trucks.
