Lubbock man sentenced to 10 years for sexual assault of a child

CAMERON COUNTY, TX (KCBD) -

34-year-old Lewis Vega of Lubbock pleaded guilty to sexual assault of a child on Tuesday and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

That's according to the Cameron County District Attorney's Office.

Vega lived in Brownsville at the time of the assaults against the victims who are family members, according to the news release.

Vega pleaded guilty to seven counts of aggravated assault of a child and four counts of indecency with a child by contact.
