Littlefield police arrest man after he received 6 pounds of marijuana in the mail

LITTLEFIELD, TX (KCBD) -

A man is facing felony charges after Littlefield police intercepted a package containing six pounds of hydroponic marijuana, which has an estimated street value of $30,000.

Police obtained a federal warrant and searched the suspicious package along with U.S. Postal Service investigators.

The package was reconstructed and when 21-year-old Rafael John Deleon claimed the package at the post office and walked out of the building. Littlefield Police were there and he was taken into custody on May 10.

He is currently in the Lamb County Jail facing third-degree felony charges associated with marijuana.
