Tech takes game against Oklahoma St., 14-6

STILLWATER, OK (KCBD) -

A day after he left the game early due to an injury, Texas Tech’s Grant Little was back in the starting lineup and hit 2 3-run homers to help the 10th ranked Red Raiders beat No. 14 Oklahoma State 14-6 Friday night and clinch the series.

Zach Rheams hit a solo home run and Josh Jung added a 2 run longball.

Tech trailed 6-4 in the 5th when Little hit a 3 run homer to give the Red Raiders a 7-6 lead.

Then in the 6th up 8-6, Little crushed another 3 run homer even further than the first.

Scoring 4 in the 5th and 5 in the 6th, the Red Raiders pulled away from Cowboys to take the first 2 games of the series.

Brian Klein hit the Red Raiders 5th homer of the game in the 9th to make it 14-6.
 
Davis Martin went just 2 1/3 innings giving up 7 hits and 5 runs, 4 earned with 2 strikeouts.

The series finale is 1 p.m. Saturday in Stillwater.
