OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (KCBD) -

#6 Texas Tech didn’t have a good first showing in the double elimination Big 12 Championship as the 3rd seeded Red Raiders lost to 6th seeded TCU 12-2 in a game that started almost 2 hours late at 9:25pm Wednesday night and ended 12:26am Thursday morning.

The top 4 seeds in the Big 12 Championship will be in elimination games Thursday.

The 3rd seeded Red Raiders meet 2nd seeded Oklahoma State at 12:30pm Thursday after the Cowboys lost to 7th seeded West Virginia 8-5.

Top seeded Texas lost to 8th seeded Kansas 3-2 and 5th seeded Baylor blanked 4th seeded Oklahoma 4-0.

Playing at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City, Texas Tech will look to stay alive facing an Oklahoma State squad they swept just last weekend.
