South Plains Balloon Round Up Takes Flight Sunday

The SouthWest Regional Balloon Club is already firing up for this weekend's Balloon Roundup. Saturday at least 30 hot air balloons will fill the Lubbock sky. Balloons from New Mexico, Texas and other states will participate. The balloons will launch Saturday and Sunday at sunrise from a field in just East of Tiger Stadium in Wolforth.

This event is free and everyone is invited to watch the balloons take flight. Organizers are expecting 20,000 people to attend the round up this weekend
