STILLWATER, OK (KCBD) - Through 36 holes at the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship, the Texas Tech Men's Golf team has a one-stroke lead over Oklahoma State.
Currently, the Red Raiders are without their best player Fredrick Neilhiem (Injured) and still sit in first place.
The team has sunk 39-Birdies and 3-Eagles through the first 36-holes and with 36-remaining head coach Gregg Sands wants to keep his team focused, as they try to stay atop of the leaderboard.
"It's a long tournament and it is hard not to get excited," Coach Sands said. "That is certainly where you want to be, but we also know that 36-more holes on this golf course is something we have to buckle down and keep doing the things we are doing. Stay the course."
