Sowder Takes Oath Of Office Friday - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Bill Sowder is the 99th State District Judge.

The former Lubbock Criminal District Attorney Bill Sowder took the oath of office Friday afternoon. The oath was administered by his father and longtime attorney Madison Sowder. Governor Rick Perry appointed Sowder to the bench.

Meanwhile, Matt Powell is serving as Interim Criminal District Attorney until Perry appoints someone to the position.
