I Beat Pete: Playing a gentler version of Dodgeball in Wolfforth

WOLFFORTH, TX (KCBD) - This week we headed out to Wolfforth to play a game of GaGa - no affiliation to singer Lady Gaga.

Gaga is a kinder gentler version of dodgeball. It's played inside an octagon pit and the object is to hit the opponent with the ball below the knee to eliminate them.

First Baptist Church in Wolfforth is hosting a GaGa ball tournament this Saturday June 2, starting at 10 a.m. The cost is $5 a person or $20 for a team.

First Baptist Church in Wolfforth is located on Main Street right across from Frenship Middle School. This event is a fundraiser for their summer mission camp.

Teams of four will compete in matches consisting of three games, The first team to win two games advances to the next round of the tournament. The losing team will have to fight their way back through the Loser's Bracket. Players can register with a team or individually and be placed on a team.

For the challenge, we played a best of seven. Games go super quick and it was a lot of fun.

If you have a challenge, email me at pchristy@kcbd.com.
