If you think losing weight is easy, ask any woman who recently had a baby and they will tell you just how difficult it can be to shed those extra pounds. But there is a new program that makes losing weight easier for new and expectant moms.
The birth of Deann Schuler's baby girl four months ago was a joy, but those extra pounds that came along with it, were not. So finding the lifestyle program which is tailored just for moms, was
exactly the solution Deann was looking for.
"We do step aerobics for cardio, we do pilates one day and yoga another day, we do strength training with resistance bands," says Deann.
"I think they really want to try to get back into their clothing again that they were wearing before pregnancy, and that can be really frustrating," says personal trainer, Stacy Larson.
But that's not a problem for Deann anymore, thanks to this program.
"I don't even know how much I've lost since delivery, but I do weigh less now than I did before I was pregnant," says Deann.
The lifestyle program offers both postpartum and prenatal personal training and women love the fact that they don't have to leave the house.
"She comes when it's convenient for me. I don't have to go somewhere, I don't have to get a baby-sitter, I don't have to worry about anything really"
Deann has been on the program for 2 months and Stacy says she is impressed with Deann's quick progress.
"She says she gets a lot of compliments from people and so I'm happy that
she's happy with her results," says personal trainer, Stacy Larson.
