Kevin Ray leaving O'Donnell after 2 seasons

LOCKNEY, TX (KCBD) - Longtime six-man football coach Kevin Ray is leaving O'Donnell after two seasons as the Eagles Head Football Coach.

He is retiring from the State of Texas and is moving back to Oklahoma. He will be teaching/coaching at 6A Yukon so he can be near his mother in law, who lives in Norman and his son who attends Oklahoma.

Ray says he had no plans to leave, but it was a great opportunity that he couldn't turn down.

Ray won a six-man State Championship at Trinidad in 1998.

We wish Coach Ray and his family the best.
