Reese Technology Center To Close Shelter Wednesday - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Almost all of the Hurricane Katrina survivors have cleared out from Reese Technology Center.

Nine days ago, more than 400 evacuees arrived in Lubbock. As of noon Tuesday, that number was down to 70. Officials say some evacuees have re-connected with family members, some have found apartments here, and a few are going to the Salvation Army.

The Reese shelter is expected to close Wednesday.
