Lubbock's proposal for the George W. Bush Presidential Library is on its way to Washington D.C.
"Seven weeks of frendzied work, lot of intense work, and a lot of late hours completed...Now the proposal is going to be in the hands of the committee as of tomorrow," said West Texas Coalition Chairman, David Miller.
Miller unvieled the proposal at the Merket Alumni Center Wednesday morning. The selection committee has two months to evaluate all of the submissions. However, the final decision will not be made until next year.
