Denver City Museum Offers A Glance At The Past - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

NewsChannel 11 found an odd looking contraption inside the Denver City Museum. It looks a little scary, but it's actually a permanent wave machine. Women would use it to curl their hair.

"They would put solution on, and would roll hair on rollers and put rollers in here and this is electricity. We would sit under that and every once in a while they'd ask you, "are you burning?"" Denver City Museum President, Dalphene Benson said.
