According to the Build-A-Bear website, all lines for the pay-your-age day have been shut down due to crowd and safety concerns.

According to some social media posts, the line appears to be so long, it is outside and wrapping around the South Plains Mall. Officials with the mall say they are checking to see if the lines are closed locally.

There is also a crowd gathering for the special event planned for the opening day of H&M. In a news release sent out by South Plains Mall officials, there are some big giveaways planned for H&M's grand opening.

To celebrate the new store, customers at the H&M at South Plains Mall can line up before noon on opening day for a chance to win an H&M Fashion Pass valued up to $500, while supplies last, in addition to other surprise offers for the whole family. Customers who participate in garment collecting on opening day can also enter to win a gift card from $50 to $500.
