Of those polled on the streets today, most thought a presidential library was just full of books. In fact about 80% of those we talked had never visited a presidential library. But the library's are meant to offer much more.
David Miller, the West Texas Library Chairman, says there are three parts to the George W. Bush proposed library; an institution, a museum, and a place for books. "One is book like. They have archives from all the presidential records."
In an animation of Clinton's Library, that opened last year, it shows one of the largest archive library.

Miller says the second part will be, "An institution, it will be a place for higher education."
And for fun, the Library will offer a museum with interactive programs that will draw people from all over the world. "It will a type of amusement park, but for entertainment and education."
According to the Clinton Presidential Library, they have exceeded 400-thousand visitors, surpassing the annual projected goal of 300-thousand visitors during its first year of operation. That averages to 10-thousand visitors a week.
