Neugebauer Proposes Political Funding To Hurricane Relief - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Congressman Randy Neugebauer of Lubbock is recommending a way to pay for the long term recovery efforts in the Gulf Coast.

"I'm proposing the federal government quit funding political campaigns and conventions and divert that money for Hurricane Katrina and relief for families that are in need," said Congressman Neugebauer.

Neugebauer says this reform could generate $550,000 million over the next ten years.
