TTU Wind Researchers Go South - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

While everyone else is fleeing the Gulf Coast, a Texas Tech professor and six students are headed South.

A team with the Wind Science and Research Center left for Houston Wednesday morning. The team will use five towers to gather wind data.

The students also went to Louisiana to gather data from Hurricane Katrina.
