Midnight Traffic Accident Claims Life Of Driver - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

One man is dead, and two others were injured after a collision in Central Lubbock overnight.

Around midnight, police say the driver of a Ford Explorer pulled into the parking lot of the Executive Inn on 44th and Avenue Q, and hit a Ford Focus as it backed out of a parking space. The Explorer then collided with a parked minivan.

The driver of the Explorer, 34-year-old Domingo Sarias, was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The driver and passenger in the Focus were treated and released from Covenant Medical Center.
