Lubbock County Property & Hospital Tax Increase

Lubbock County property and hospital taxes are going up.

Monday morning, County Commissioners approved a half-cent property tax increase. If you own a $100,000 house, you'll pay about $5 more a year for County taxes. Commissioners also approved an eight-percent hospital tax increase. That's an average of $0.68 more per month for someone owning a $100,000 home.
