TTUHSC Plans To Expand El Paso Campus - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A campaign to raise $25 million to upgrade the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso is underway.

El Paso Electric Company donated $5 million Thursday to get the effort started. The goal is to upgrade the two year campus to a four year medical school. Construction is nearing completion on a research building near Thomason hospital. Tech plans to begin construction of a $45 million education building by the end of the year.
