Shallowater Woman Dies In Head-On Collision

A Shallowater woman is dead after a traffic collision in Hockley County.

DPS Troopers say 18-year old Corina Parslow drifted into the opposite lane and hit a semi-truck head on. It happened around 7:30 Thursday morning on Farm To Market Road 1294 NorthEast of Levelland. Parslow was pronounced dead at the scene. AeroCare flew the semi truck driver, 63-year old Jay Leatherwood, to UMC. He is in stable condition.
