She spent two years in jail but Friday was sentenced to just one. Adeladia Contreas pleaded guilty to attempted evidence tampering in connection to the stabbing death of Fernando Paredez in 2001. The judge sentenced her to one year in jail but she's already spent two years in jail so Friday she was set free.
Francisco Calderon is currently serving 20-years in prison for murder in this case. Raymond Maldonado and David Uriegas are also charged with Paredez's murder. Their cases are still pending.
