Texas Tech To Match Donor Scholarships - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Texas Tech University is building its scholarship fund with matching gifts.

Monday, the university announced a new program to pair donor gifts of at least $5,000 with matching funds from the university. While donors may contribute as much as they wish to the scholarship, the university's contribution will remain fixed at $5,000.

Contributions are 100% tax deductible and may be increased at any time. Scholarships may be designated for a particular college or program and be named.

The scholarships will be awarded annually, starting next fall.
