Interstate Crash Caused By Driver's Medical Condition

Police say a medical condition may have contributed to a crash along the Interstate 27 Monday afternoon.

The accident happened at about 3pm at the 13th Street exit. Authorities say the driver of a Chevy pickup lost control along the curve, went airborne and slammed into a tree. When EMS arrived, they found the 64-year-old driver waiting outside his vehicle. He was taken to a local hospital for further examination.
