Roaming cows may be to blame for an accident in East Lubbock County Thursday night.
The accident happened around 8pm. A witness said the driver of a truck was driving West on County Road 6500 when he ran into a cow and then hit a house.
Karin Harris said she was actually trying to warn the homeowners about the cattle when the accident happened. "I went to tell the people their cows was out and when I came to the front of the house and I saw a bunch of steam. I looked over and the young man I know hit the house after hitting a cow," said Harris.
EMS took the driver to a Lubbock hospital with minor injuries. No one inside the home was injured.
