Authorities Continue Search For Frank Santana

Hockley Co. Sheriff Hockley Co. Sheriff

The Hockley County Sheriff's Department has released the 9-1-1 tapes surrounding a brutal weekend attack.

Authorities say Frank Santana broke into a home on Sunday, tied up a woman and raped her. When her husband arrived, they say Santana beat him and then stole their truck. The woman ran for help at a Kwik Mart convenience store. That's where the following 9-1-1 call took place.

"911: 911 what's your emergency?
Clerk: Um, there's a lady who has come to our convenience store and she is in, like her wrists are tied with like belt restraints, and she said someone is trying to kill her husband at her home.
911: Okay
Clerk: And, she asked us to call and she's real hysterical.
911: Okay, and she's at the road?
Clerk: We're at Kwik Mart in Anton, Texas."

Officers recovered the couple's truck Wednesday in Lubbock, but Santana is still at large. Santana 6-feet tall and weighs about 240 pounds. He has tattoos on both arms, his back and chest.
