After almost a month of hard work, a Lubbock family will sleep in their very own home. The home is located in the 2100 block of Dartmouth and was completed by Habitat For Humanity. It took about 1500 volunteers, including the new homeowners, to complete the home. New homeowner, and mother of four, Isabel Iberra says it's an amazing change from where they were living.
"We live in a one bedroom apartment right now, we're going to have our own space. It's great," Iberra said.
The houses in the area were started on September 10th as part of the 2005 Blitz Build.
