Murder Trial Begins In Hockley County - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Hockley County jurors spent the afternoon listening to testimony in a 2004 murder trial.

24-year-old Michael Gomez is on trial for the murder of 21-year-old Julio Arismendez. Arismendez was found in an abandoned farmhouse northeast of Levelland in June of 2004. He died from multiple gunshot wounds and blunt trauma.

Testimony resumes Tuesday morning.
