Teen Crashes Car Into Three Poles Overnight - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Streets were slick when an unlicensed driver ran into three poles in Central Lubbock.

The accident happened in the area of 47th and Slide.  Police say 18-year-old Adelio Mendez of Slaton ran into a pole and snapped it in half shortly before midnight. The car then went into a skid, spun and then ran into two more poles.

No one was injured, but Mendez was cited for speeding.
