Last Day for Voter Registration

Tuesday is the last day to register to vote in the November 8th general election. Voters will decide on nine amendments to the Texas Constitution. The most controversial amendment is Proposition 2, which would ban same-sex marriage.

Voter registration applications must be turned in at the elections office or postmarked by 5 pm today.  Or you can register at any of the following locations:

  • Lubbock County Elections Office, 1308 Ave. G.
  • Post offices and libraries.
  • Lubbock County Tax Assessor, 916 Main, Room 102
