Two inmates are on the run and authorities need your help to find them. They're looking for two men, Matthew Davila and Justin Graves. They escaped from the Gaines County Jail in Seminole around 11:30pm Monday night.
The inmates apparently knocked a hole in a hallway ceiling, out of sight from security cameras. They crawled through that hole, made their way to an air conditioner vent, and tried to burn a hole in a skylight. That didn't work, so they continued to crawl their way through the AC vent until they reached the roof. The inmates then slid down a sewer pipe to run away from the jail.
They left their inmate uniforms outside the jail and quickly changed into street clothes at a home in Seminole. They made their final get-away by stealing Grave's grandmother's Cadillac.
"I don't think these guys would be considered armed and dangerous, but with an escape charge pending, their disposition may have changed. It certainly wouldn't be prudent to approach either of them, you never know what they're thinking. They're running scared," said Tim Smith the administrator of the Gaines County Jail.
Matthew Davila is 26-years-old, 6'2", and weighs 195 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. He was being held on a forgery charge.
Justin Graves was being held on a burglary charge. Neither had gone to trial yet. Graves is 19-years old, 5'6", and weighs 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
They were last seen driving a White 1994 Cadillac DeVille with Texas license plates B23-PBG.
